1. Making experts in the field of general science, something that Basic Schools so desperately need. This is so because there are not enough teachers in Kurdistan who have multiple teachable. Graduate from Biology, for instance, cannot teach geology, physics or chemistry. A graduate from the Department of General Science will have the right skills and sufficient knowledge to successfully teach all those school subjects. 1. 2. Graduates from the science department are not prepared to teach because there is not enough emphasis on teaching methodology and psychology and so forth. In our department, however, all relevant subfields of science such as biology, physics, chemistry and geology are given ample significance. Students are additionally taught methods of teaching and psychology, enabling them to work with young learners in Basic Schools.
