One of the departments in the College of Basic Education, the Department of General Science was founded in the academic year 2014-2015. Students applying to this department are required to have completed a Diploma from an accredited institute. In addition, applicants need to have passed through High School and finished 12th Grade. Upon successful completion, students are granted a B.Sc. from the Department of General Science/ Evening, Faculty of General Education. After their degrees are modified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Graduate can go back to their previous jobs as General Science Teachers or work in Basic Schools.
