1- Preparing students for the purpose of employing them as teachers in the field of education.

2- Building up trained teachers who are able to practice the profession taking into account the scientific, expert as a basis of the new educational system.

3- Effective monitoring and constant follow-up of the basic grades of the educational programs to be compatible with the department's curriculum.

4- Making connection with the similar departments and Colleges in the other universities across Kurdistan aiming at unifying teaching programs and improving the scientific relations.

5- Finally, it is our goal to pay attention to developing the Kurdish language and literature and considering the reasons behind its lack of progress through conducting academic study and holding scientific conferences, workshops, forums etc.
